The Tastiest 3-Ingredient Homemade Ice-Cream

This recipe is so easy, and so delicious!

I've never made ice-cream before, but when I found this simple 3-ingredient recipe, I had to give it a try.

I found this recipe on Buzzfeed Tasty channel on YouTube.

The host of the video said that this is the recipe they use most often for their own videos, so I knew it must be tasty.

I'm often disappointed with store bought ice-cream not having enough flavor, and sometimes lacking flavor altogether.

So I thought I'd give this simple recipe a try.

The directions are pretty simple. You microwave the sweetened condensed milk and the chocolate chips for 30 second intervals until they've melted.

Then you whip up the heavy whipping cream, until it becomes light and fluffy like whipped cream. (I chilled my bowl in the freezer first.)

Then you combine the whipped cream and the chocolate, and add in any mix ins you want. Freeze for at least a few hours.

The results are delicious!

It is more of a moose than an ice-cream, but that is fine by me! I add kit-kats, mini m&ms, and crushed oreo thins. It is a rich chocolate flavor, with the amazing crunch and taste of the candy.

10/10 I would recommend!

Recipe: (as found on buzzfeed)
INGREDIENTS
1 pint heavy whipping cream 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk, cold 10 ounces bittersweet chocolate, melted PREPARATION 1. Place a large glass or stainless steel mixing bowl in the freezer for at least 15 minutes. 2. In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate and sweetened condensed milk. 3. Microwave 30 seconds at a time, stirring after each, until melted. 4. Set aside to cool slightly. 5. Remove the mixing bowl from the freezer and add the heavy whipping cream. 6. Beat with an electric mixer until the cream begins to form firm peaks. 7. Fold a large spoonful of the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture to thin it out. 8. Fold the chocolate mixture back into the whipped cream mixture until just combined, being careful not to over-mix, which will deflate the whipped cream. 9. Pour into a loaf pan or 9x9-inch baking pan. Cover and freeze until firm, about 4 hours. 10. Enjoy!
